LOEWE Opens a New Store in Palma de Mallorca

LOEWE has opened a new store on Paseo del Borne in the historic centre of Palma de Mallorca, bringing its full offering of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and accessories to the island. The 140-square-metre space draws from Mallorca’s Mediterranean light and craft heritage, beginning with a façade clad in handcrafted ceramic tiles in a green that echoes the traditional painted shutters found across the city.
The tiling continues inside, shifting to a wider palette of blue, yellow, green, orange, and white inspired by the Mallorcan landscape. Locally made hydraulic floor tiles and natural jute rugs bring warmth and texture throughout. Furniture mixes George Nakashima chairs in American black walnut with handcrafted tables produced on the island, alongside LOEWE’s signature leather Puffer bench. Sculptural ceramic podiums developed for the Spring Summer 2026 collection appear in tones of yellow, orange, and white, bringing the runway’s broken geometries into the store.
Art remains central to the space. Two etchings by Paul Thek sit alongside ceramic works by Annie Turner, a 2019 LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize finalist, and sculptures by Keita Matsunaga rooted in repair and reuse. Together, the architecture, craft, and art create a Mallorcan interpretation of the LOEWE world.
