For Fall/Winter 2026, the label J.L-A.L presents a collection immersed in a shared feeling of inheritance. The mood is one of Tristitia (a Latin word for sorrow) framed not as a personal emotion, but as a condition passed down through time.

Here, the future is not presented as a promise or something to own. Its shape is fractured by the weight of what has come before. The collection exists within this heaviness.

Drawing from lineages of lamentation, the clothes form a sartorial procession of grief. This feeling is composed, not resolved. Fabrics gather, drape, and descend over the body with a ritualized gravity. There is no sense of resistance, nor any attempt to rise above.
