Issey Miyake Eyes has a new model called UROKO. It was made for the IM MEN Spring/Summer 2026 collection, which is titled “Dancing Texture.”

The sunglasses take inspiration from Shoji Kamoda, a ceramic artist known for work with scale-like patterns. That texture shows up here. Eight lenses sit across the frame, four on each side, arranged in sequence to echo Kamoda’s designs. Each lens has a concave cut engineered to fit the compact frame. The finishing is precise.

The frame itself gets an original treatment. The surface has texture, but it is not uniform. Each piece comes out slightly different. Light catches it in ways that create depth.

The result is something that looks like it came from Kamoda’s studio but built with 3D printing and Japanese craftsmanship. Complex form. Detailed surface. Small variations from one pair to the next.
