Let’s be honest. Most brands that promise “the future” just sell overpriced hoodies with unnecessary zippers. So when UCXS Synthetics says it is from 2125, you would be right to be skeptical. But here is why this one might be different.

UCXS Synthetics is an emerging concept from Bernd Zikulnig, a former professional pilot and drone expert. He thinks about systems, not seasonal colors. Each piece, from bodysuits to modular layers to sneakers, is designed as both a wearable object and a collectible artifact. The brand uses AI-based sizing, digital interaction systems, and experimental interactive footwear.

Then there is the hidden part. Buried inside UCXS is an Alternate Reality Game. Through encoded details, subtle triggers and digital connections, each piece becomes an entry point into a larger unfolding narrative. The wearer is no longer just a consumer but a participant, navigating a system where fashion, technology and story converge.

UCXS is about redefining how people interact with what they wear,” Zikulnig said. “The future of fashion is not just about what you wear, but how you experience it.”

The first release, GEN1 is minimal and system-driven. The men’s tracksuit is streamlined and adaptive, designed for training, travel and everyday transition. It combines lightweight synthetics with flexible performance fabrics to deliver a clean, structured silhouette that moves without restriction across environments.

The vest functions as a modular utility layer for carrying essential gear, featuring a lightweight mesh-backed construction and adjustable fit system optimized for long-duration wear.

The men’s sneakers are structured and reinforced for stability and daily durability, with a more robust silhouette and enhanced support zones suited for extended wear and urban movement. Both sneaker versions integrate a dedicated compartment for an optional electronic sound module, extending the product into the interactive UCXS system.

The collection is available in three colorways: Lotus White (pearl white with black UCXS insignia, reflective and heat-efficient), Obsidian Black (matte black with reflective detailing for low-light adaptability), and Naval Blue (marine blue with yellow insignia, engineered for high-contrast visibility).

So maybe the future of fashion isn’t about zippers at all. It’s about participation, system, and story, and UCXS Synthetics is already inviting you to step in.
