Jonathan Anderson has designed a new shoe for Dior men. It is called the Dior Archie. The design reworks classic men’s leatherwork, focusing on comfort and a distinct shape.

The most noticeable feature is the sole. It is architectural, with a curve that follows the natural arch of the foot. The shoe itself has a wide, rounded shape, which has become a signature of Anderson’s style for the house.

The craftsmanship references tailoring. Visible stitching on the upper is inspired by the work Roger Vivier did for Christian Dior in the archive.

The line comes in two models. The first is like a classic moccasin, in black or brown leather or beige nubuck. It has a metallic “CD” buckle. The second is a boat shoe style, with black leather or brown suede inserts. Its laces wrap around the shoe, and it features a subtle heat-stamped “Dior” logo.
