There are artists who simply play music, and then there are those who build an entire universe around it. French DJ and producer Trym undoubtedly belongs to the latter category. We recently had the chance to step behind the scenes of the music video for his latest single, featuring Dutch singer-songwriter PollyAnna, and witness firsthand the creative energy that fuels one of the most exciting names in electronic music today. Long before the cameras stopped rolling, it was already clear that this wasn’t just another video shoot, it was the beginning of a bold new chapter.

Released as a collaboration between Trym and PollyAnna, Ow I Know showcases a different side of the Parisian producer. While his signature intensity remains intact, the track introduces a more emotional and melodic dimension, with PollyAnna’s soaring vocals adding a cinematic layer to the relentless pulse of the production. The result is a record that feels equally at home in a packed warehouse rave or through headphones on a late-night journey, proving once again that dance music can be both euphoric and deeply human.

Over the past few years, Trym has become one of the defining figures of the new French electronic scene. Emerging from Paris’ underground rave culture, he has developed a sound that effortlessly blends hard techno, hard dance and euphoric melodies, refusing to be confined by genre labels. That fearless approach has taken him from intimate clubs to some of the world’s biggest stages, including Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Free Your Mind and Ultra Music Festival, where his back-to-back performance alongside DJ Snake’s alias, The Outlaw, marked another milestone in his international rise. His remixes for artists such as Martin Solveig and Marshall Jefferson have only reinforced his reputation as a producer constantly pushing boundaries.

Watching the Ow I Know video come to life offered a glimpse into the same philosophy that defines his live performances. Every frame, every lighting choice and every movement seemed designed to recreate the emotional rush that thousands of fans experience during his sets. Despite his rapidly growing global profile, Trym remains remarkably grounded, approachable and completely immersed in the creative process, making it easy to understand why audiences continue to connect with him beyond the music itself.

As electronic music continues to evolve, Trym is proving that power doesn’t have to come at the expense of emotion. His world extends beyond the club, naturally intersecting with fashion, sport, gaming and contemporary culture, reflecting a generation for whom music is only one part of a much larger creative identity. If Ow I Know is any indication of what’s next, Trym isn’t simply riding the wave of modern rave culture, he’s helping shape where it goes next.
