Blumarine has opened a new boutique in Milan. The store sits at Via Fiori Chiari 28, in the Brera district. An exclusive event marked the inauguration on February 27, with the doors opening to the public from March 6.

The space covers 170 square meters on a single level. Five large windows face the street, flooding the interior with natural light and offering passersby a direct view into the brand’s world. The architecture comes from NM3 studio, a firm that translates Blumarine’s aesthetic through clean, modular lines.

Materials do the talking here. Satin-finished steel forms the custom hanging rails. Black leather covers the boiserie. Travertine and glass inserts appear throughout. These elements create a refined environment where the architecture and the clothes exist in conversation.

At the entrance, light fills a generous welcome area. This brightness gives way to deeper tones as you move further in. A travertine wall separates the two zones. The stone keeps its natural pores, now filled with pink grout. It is a small detail, but it becomes a signature, a quiet flash of colour in an otherwise neutral palette.

Past this wall, the mood shifts. The space feels more private. A corridor lined with pink glass boiserie leads to the fitting rooms. The glass filters light while softening the view. Carpeting in a matching pink adds to the comfort. The lighting is custom but never showy. It exists to highlight the materials and the collections, not itself.

The boutique also houses a temporary piece by artist Daniele Milvio. He created a wardrobe-sculpture that brings a domestic feeling into the retail space. When off, it reads as a simple mirrored surface. When lit, it becomes something else entirely: a luminous device that seems to stretch into infinity.
