2024 LVMH Prize Winner HODAKOVA unveiled its FW26 “Conventional Collection 112603” by Ellen Hodakova Larsson at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, marking the first time debuting a handful of men’s looks on the runway leading us to wonder if she will expand into menswear in the future.

This season is centered around the exploration of the psychic inner and mental space, creating your own safe place and comfort zone, and emphasizing the care and awareness of the direction you are traveling and the decisions you make. In a collection made up of unexpected materials, we weren’t expecting for Larsson to flex her immaculate skills with something as traditional as severe tailoring for men only this time reimagined in modern silhouettes. What brings the two colliding worlds of the collection together is the focus on material whether its found, upcycled, or heritage fabrics like the Harris Tweed, there is a shared undercurrent of craftsmanship.
