GUESS JEANS and Borussia Dortmund Expand Their Collaboration
by Adriano Batista

GUESS JEANS has released a new capsule collection with Borussia Dortmund, bringing the German club’s black and yellow identity into the brand’s denim universe.
The collection translates football energy into clothing. It combines BVB’s colors with GUESS JEANS’ California approach and what the brand describes as premium construction. The idea is a “Denim Lifestyle” that works both on matchdays and outside the stadium.
For the campaign, GUESS JEANS looked at Dortmund’s football culture directly. The images were shot in streets and pubs, following the routes fans take on matchdays. The people in the photos are real supporters from the city, not models. That choice ties the collection to the local community rather than keeping it at a distance.

This is the next step in a relationship that started in June 2015, when GUESS JEANS became Borussia Dortmund’s exclusive “Denim Lifestyle Partner.” The new capsule arrives in limited quantities and is available at select GUESS JEANS stores, official BVB outlets, partner retailers, and online through Zalando and About You.
