FURIO is back with BOY2, and if BOY1 was the introspective one, this time things get a little louder, brighter and more unapologetic. Released on September 9, the new EP is the second chapter of BOYEUR, the project through which the Buenos Aires-born, Barcelona-based artist is revealing his next album throughout 2026.

Across five tracks, FURIO bends pop into his own language, bringing together original compositions, a reimagining of a Shakira song, secret samples and a healthy dose of creative chaos. Here, writing a song, reworking it or completely deforming it are simply different ways of making pop.

The result is a record where vulnerability meets humour, melodrama meets the dancefloor and happy accidents become part of the process. Rather than chasing perfection, FURIO lets instinct take control — allowing BOY2 to feel less like a finished statement and more like a project mutating in real time.

That restless approach makes sense for an artist who refuses to stay in one lane. Singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, graphic designer and creative director, FURIO has spent years moving between pop, electronic and urban music. His previous project DEFENSA took him to Sónar Barcelona and Ceremonia MX, while his 2024 solo debut Amateur later expanded into the audiovisual Amateur ALIVE!.

Now, with BOYEUR, everything feels a little more playful. BOY2 is another piece of the puzzle — one that will eventually come together with BOY1 and a collection of unreleased tracks for a full-length album arriving at the end of the year.

For now, press play, embrace the chaos and welcome to FURIO’s BOYEUR era.
