Suot Studio has introduced a new handbag called the Half Cut Ring Clutch. The design takes its shape directly from the brand’s Half Cut jewelry collection, which is based on gems cut in half.

The clutch is essentially a much larger version of one of those rings. It transforms a piece of jewelry into a sculptural accessory. The bag embraces the idea of the fracture, making it the central identity of the design.

It is a limited edition of just thirty pieces. The clutch comes in three finishes: gold, silver, and matte black. Each one is handmade in Spain. The clasp is sterling silver or 18k gold-plated, and the exterior has a multi-layered metallic coating. The inside is lightweight polyurethane, making it functional despite its bold shape.

Each bag comes with an added object: a piece of obsidian carved from half an emerald. Obsidian is a volcanic stone traditionally believed to have protective properties. For Suot Studio, this black stone represents positive energy and inner strength, adding another layer of meaning.
