FOOTDISTRICT has released a new campaign around the Nike Air Liquid Max, developed in collaboration with the electronic music collective 1111. The project brings together music, narrative and product around a single idea: making visible what can no longer be hidden.

The campaign builds on the idea of confession. Moments when silence ceases to be an option. When keeping something to yourself weighs more than speaking it out. The Air Liquid Max sits in that symbolic territory, a gesture toward liberation.

Following the legacy of Air Max, where air stopped hiding and became the protagonist, this new model continues that logic. The Air Liquid Max technology was developed to get as close as possible to walking on air, with a molded, flexible Air unit placed closer to the ground. The silhouette draws inspiration from the poison dart frog, one of nature’s smallest and most dangerous amphibians, which uses color as a warning. A three-layer textured mesh, vibrant nanoprints and a tinted translucent sole create a design that does not aim to go unnoticed.

To accompany the launch, which coincides with Air Max Day celebrations, FOOTDISTRICT and Nike created an audiovisual piece with 1111, an emerging electronic music collective formed by Fedra, Armas and ru0001. The group moves between pop, netcore and the digital underground, constructing soundscapes meant to be experienced through the city with headphones.

At the center of the campaign is a special version of “La línea de puntos,” a song from their upcoming album. The original speaks of what is expected of us, of predetermined paths and the self-imposed pressure to follow them. But also of the possibility of deviating. For this campaign, 1111 created an exclusive version, reinterpreting the song from a rawer, more direct and exposed perspective. A confession within a confession.

The visual foundation, created by Duelo and Ex-All based on the song, develops the idea of confession and public exposure that sits at the root of artistic creation. The new version of the song becomes the emotional core of the audiovisual piece, accompanying images that reinforce the tension between what is expected and what is ultimately chosen to reveal. Music and image move together toward the same point: the moment of rupture.

The Nike Air Liquid Max exists in that instant when something changes direction. When the hidden becomes visible and the expected ceases to make sense. The campaign understands the new silhouette as a metaphor for creation, as an act of exposure. Because sometimes, saying something is the only way to move forward.
