In a stunning collaboration between Louis Bever and Neal Heard’s LOVERS F.C, “Football is for Lovers” is a project that marries Louis’s signature style with Neal’s fashion-forward designs. The project features an exclusive selection of vintage shirts from Louis’s personal collection, as well as a series of portraits of real-life couples donning rival sponsors, patterns, and teams, all inspired by the English portrait artist Thomas Gainsborough’s timeless work.
Speaking on the collaboration, Louis Bever stated, “I aimed to capture the essence of the beautiful game with the beautiful people who share a love for it,” while Neal Heard noted, “Working with Louis, who brings a fresh and romantic perspective to football shirts, was a natural choice for Lover’s F.C.”
