Evan Mock Teams Up with Orb on a Fragrance Oil Inspired by O’ahu
by Adriano Batista
Orb has partnered with Evan Mock and his lifestyle label Wahine on a limited-edition fragrance oil that captures the feeling of a day on O’ahu’s North Shore. Unlike a typical ambassadorship, Mock was involved from brief to bottle, working alongside Orb’s Melbourne-based perfumer to translate his connection to the islands into scent.
“After seeing what Evan had created with Wahine, it felt like a natural brand fit,” said Orb Co-Founder Emma Smith. “Both labels are built on authenticity and honesty. Evan has been such an influence globally to our demographic, but we wanted this to feel collaborative rather than a typical tie-in. Our favourite thing about scent is how it transports you, evokes memory, takes you anywhere. Once we understood Evan’s vision behind Wahine and his love for the land and the islands, it felt like the perfect place to take people.”
The fragrance is an alcohol-free oil designed to carry through a full day. As a limited edition, it stands apart from Orb’s core range and will not be repeated. The packaging draws from the sustainable plate lunch boxes spotted across O’ahu, with a bespoke mould developed to bring that feel to the experience. A keychain featuring images selected by Mock and a flip book complete the unboxing, designed to feel like sitting on the North Shore with all senses engaged.

The Orb x Wahine fragrance retails for $149 USD and will be available exclusively at REVOLVE and FWRD from 14 August, and online at orboils.com from 20 August.
