For Fall/Winter 2026, Ernest W. Baker presented its first runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Creative directors Inês Amorim and Reid Baker used the occasion to honor the brand’s origins: the simple idea of reinterpreting classic garments with considered care.

The collection unfolds as a journey, connecting memories of past seasons with a feeling of moving forward. As a debut show, it naturally draws inspiration from direction, momentum, and new beginnings. The venue, a boat called La Péniche “River Palace,” echoed this theme of passage. Details like leather sailor shirts, striped knitwear, and nautical closures reinforced a narrative of movement.

Three distinct interpretations of classic checks appear throughout. Patterns like tartan are reworked in knitwear and leather, extending to matching loafers and baguette bags. This repetition of coordinated sets defines a cohesive brand aesthetic.

A sponsorship with Swarovski allowed for an expanded use of embellishment. Crystals are intricately embroidered onto tailoring, knitwear, leather, and accessories. The patterns are inspired by constellations and shooting stars, subtly reflecting ideas of navigation and finding direction.
