EGONLAB presented their Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Ataraxia, during the second day of Paris Fashion Week. Designers Florentin Glémarec and Kevin Nompeix drew inspiration from the concept of liminal spaces, digital landscapes suspended between memory and possibility, along with their own interpretation of “Coquette Core” filtering the trend through a distinctly masculine lens, while trompe-l’œil details blurred the boundaries between garments.

This season also explored silk shirts embellished with Swarovski crystals, satin headwear tied with oversized bows, while never losing its edge. Experimental denim treatments, surrealist frame necklaces, and wave-like embossed pleating inspired by René Magritte’s The Lovers underscore the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and conceptual storytelling.

The theme throughout the collection ultimately is one of love. In a world increasingly defined by division and instability, EGONLAB uses fashion as a vehicle for unity, individuality, and hope. This vision is not only refreshing but is probably one of the reasons why they are nominated for this year’s prestigious ANDAM Award. Complementing the runway collection is a collaboration with Eastpak, reimagining functional accessories through the house’s distinctive lens of gender-fluid expression, proof that, even amid uncertainty, creativity can remain a powerful act of resistance.
