Eckhaus Latta celebrated its 15th anniversary with “Making More Friends” at New York Fashion Week. The Spring/Summer 2027 collection by designers Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta continued to explore the everyday wardrobe of menswear. The New York and Los Angeles label has built its identity around finding newness in familiar pieces, and this season that approach came through in relaxed trousers, denim, knitwear, T-shirts, shirting and tailored separates all very relaxed in shape and cut. Rather than completely reinventing classic garments, Eckhaus and Latta subtly played with proportion, construction, layering, texture and styling, creating clothes that feel lived-in while the evolution of their fifteen years together is felt.

Denim, one of the label’s signature materials, remained an important part of the collection, while knitwear brought a playful quality that has become synonymous with Eckhaus Latta. The collection also coincided with the designers’ collaboration with J.Crew, a limited-edition series of J.Crew icons reimagined through Eckhaus Latta’s expressive lens. Before developing the collaboration, Eckhaus and Latta went back through decades of vintage J.Crew catalogs, drawing from the colors, proportions and iconic styles that have defined the American brand for more than 40 years. The two houses together gave way to the current renaissance of American dressing that has crossed the Atlantic in recent seasons.
