Dsquared2‘s Pre-Spring/Summer 2026 collection features a collaboration with the photographer Tom Bianchi. The partnership centers on Bianchi’s iconic series of Polaroids taken on Fire Island between 1975 and 1983. The images captured moments of freedom and celebration within New York’s gay communities in that era, set against the beaches and modernist homes of the Pines.

Select photographs from this series are printed on pieces in the capsule collection. They appear on T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hats, and swimwear. The collection also includes accessories: an oversized shopper bag and a statement clutch. The clutch uses a trompe-l’oeil design to mimic the look of a rolled-up erotic magazine, nodding to the sensual history of the source material.

While the photographs document a specific period, Dsquared2 aims to connect their spirit to the present. The collection frames Bianchi’s vision of liberation and community as still relevant today.
