The Dior Book Tote gets a new chapter this season. They are calling these versions the Book Covers. The idea is direct: the bag was originally made to carry books. Now, its surface becomes the book itself.

Each tote features the embroidered cover of a classic novel. The first is a tribute to Gothic fiction, with Bram Stoker’s Dracula stitched in a strong, vivid yellow. Others show the titles Ulysses by James Joyce, In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, and Les Fleurs du Mal by Charles Baudelaire. The selection reflects a shared appreciation for literature between the house’s founder and its current Artistic Director, Jonathan Anderson, touching on Ireland, France, and America.

The bags come in three sizes. The large keeps its classic shape with a practical magnetic closure. The medium and mini sizes include a detachable nylon shoulder strap for wearing on the shoulder. On each, the Dior logo is embroidered neatly on the front.
