Denim Tears has announced the launch of its SS26 bag collection, marking the brand’s first in-house bag category. The collection continues Tremaine Emory’s exploration of the Cotton Wreath motif, which he created over seven years ago and has since carried across clothing and accessories. Here, it appears as chain-stitch embroidery on cotton canvas and leather.

The bags come in two materials and two sizes. The Cotton Wreath Canvas Bag carries the motif on 15oz cotton canvas. The Cotton Wreath Leather Bag uses a soft grain leather with a more adaptable silhouette. A side button lets the bag shift between two shapes. Unbuttoned, it opens into a tote suited for work, travel, and daily use. Buttoned, it takes a tighter form sized for evenings out.

The campaign was shot by Gabriel Moses, a friend of the brand, extending Denim Tears’ diasporic visual identity. It features Adit Ajhok Deng, Crystall Mess, and others. Check it out below:
