David Catalán‘s ASSEMBLED campaign explores the Fall/Winter 2026 collection through construction, contrast, and tactile depth. Inspired by the layered nature of traditional Portuguese patchwork blankets, the collection turns heritage references into a contemporary winter wardrobe defined by irregular compositions and contrasting surfaces.

Wool, cashmere, velvet, denim, and leather come together with tailoring fabrics, coated finishes, and plasticised textures, creating a dialogue between softness and structure. Each look is conceived as an assembled composition, where different materials and panels interact to create depth and movement.

Photographed by Dulce Daniel, the campaign captures that tension through an atmospheric lens, focusing on the relationship between the garments and the body, emphasising volume and texture. ASSEMBLED becomes a study of how contrasting elements can coexist as one, reinterpreting a familiar Portuguese reference through a contemporary perspective.
