CELINE has released the Soft Triomphe, a new line of bags first shown at the Printemps 2026 show, Michael Rider’s first collection for the house. The bags appeared again at the Été presentation at Domaine de Saint Cloud.

The design centers on a discreet Triomphe magnetized closure. Proportions are made for everyday use. The silhouette is smooth. The line reflects a sense of contemporary ease. Each bag is crafted from supple shiny lambskin. The construction balances softness with structure to achieve a curving form. CELINE uses a sewn-back technique from its leather goods workshop, which keeps the bags lightweight and tactile. The suppleness is meant to hold over time.

The Triomphe closure appears here in a miniature version. Scaled down, simplified and integrated seamlessly. It is a new interpretation of the house emblem, one that signals a shift in attitude within the broader CELINE language.

The line launches in two shapes. The Besace has a rounded body and front flap. The Half Moon is sleeker and rests naturally against the body. Both can be worn crossbody or on the shoulder.
