CARRIERI presented its new collection, Star Fox, at 080 Barcelona Fashion. The collection draws from the retro-galactic aesthetic of the 1990s and one of the first video games created in 3D.

The idea behind the collection is a question: what happens when the future is not what we dreamed of? In the early 1990s, screens were filled with digital universes that promised a limitless future. Star Fox was a promise, the idea that no matter how small you were, you could save entire worlds.

So the collection works with what remains: nostalgia. But not the soft kind. The silhouettes feel like space-pilot uniforms. Protective. Enveloping. The cuts take cues from vector landscapes, those sharp, unnatural angles of early digital graphics. Accessories are metallic, like armor. The colors come straight from 16-bit palettes. The fabrics are upcycled and recycled. No need for new materials to remember an old dream.

The collection wants to reconnect with that old fighting spirit. The one that said you could be small and still matter.
