Carne Bollente has released the final drop from its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, paying tribute to Hasegawa’s body of work and his portrayals of queer expression. The capsule captures a vision of homoerotic art that has often been unseen by the Western world.

Hasegawa was a cult Japanese artist who lived from 1945 to 1999. He is best known for work that fused Asian spirituality, tantric symbolism, and psychedelia. His art was once underground but has now become a key reference in queer aesthetics. He was primarily self-taught. His work explored themes of masculinity, gay identity, and the intersection of Eastern and Western cultures.
