Camper has a new creative director. Abraham Ortuño, who works under the name Abra, will lead both the main line and CAMPERLAB. He takes over product and brand communication.

Ortuño is from Alicante, Spain. Before starting his own label in 2019, he worked with international fashion houses on accessories and footwear. Those designs gained attention in the industry.

His first collections arrive next year. Fall/Winter 2027 will mark his debut, with a global launch in June. The new direction will be revealed earlier in the year.

Miguel Fluxà, Camper’s CEO, sees Ortuño as part of a new generation of creative leadership. His knowledge of footwear and cultural sensibility make him the right fit. Fluxà believes his vision will open new territories while strengthening what the brand already is.

It is an incredible honor to take on the role of Creative Director of Camper and Camperlab. As a Spanish designer, Camper has always represented the pinnacle of our country’s design heritage: a brand that fearlessly balances Mediterranean pragmatism with a deep sense of play. I look forward to paying homage to that rich archive while introducing a new, subversive energy to both the main line and Camperlab. We are going to push the boundaries of footwear further, fusing irony, craftsmanship, and contemporary culture.” – Abraham Ortuño, Creative Director of Camper and Camperlab
