Burberry has introduced a new scent called Hero Elixir de Parfum. It is the next stage in the brand’s Hero fragrance line. The scent is presented as a deeper study of a man’s contrasting qualities: power alongside sensitivity, strength with vulnerability. The idea is a more self-aware, quiet kind of courage.

The fragrance was developed by perfumer Aurélien Guichard. He approached it as a rediscovery of the original Hero scent. He returns to that fragrance’s core element (a trio of cedarwoods) but explores a darker, more sensual interpretation. The familiar amber and smoky notes are intensified with a new blackened leather accord, creating a richer, woodier character.

The scent is built around contrast. It opens with the soft, resinous warmth of tonka bean and vanilla. This is anchored by the stronger, defining heart of leather and the three cedarwoods. The result is meant to be a warm, sensual fragrance with a discreet but lasting intensity.

The bottle’s design mirrors this idea of duality. Made from heavy glass, it features a gradient color that shifts from dark to amber. It reinterprets the original Hero bottle shape with a mix of matte and glossy finishes. The cap is topped with the Burberry Gentleman emblem, a symbol of courage and exploration.

Burberry Hero Elixir de Parfum will be available globally starting March 26, 2026. It will be sold on Burberry’s website, in their boutiques, and through select retail partners.
