Dime and Eastpak have made a collection for people who are always running late. It is designed for the last-minute dash to a flight, work, or anything else.

The collaboration mixes Dime’s relaxed, slightly chaotic attitude with Eastpak’s fifty-year focus on durable bags. The idea is to make gear that can handle the rush, even if it can’t speed up the security line.

There are three main bags. The Dime Getter is a backpack for the person who thinks they are organized but always forgets one thing. The Dime Skate Tote is an all-terrain bag for skaters or anyone who makes impulse buys. The Dime Resist’r Case is a carry-on named for the friend who starts packing when the taxi arrives.

The capsule comes in two color combinations. The copy jokes that the bags are built to last for many years, depending on your life expectancy. The branding is understated, for the traveler with confidence but no plan.

The collection launches on January 17th online and at flagship stores in Montreal and London. It will be in select Eastpak stores worldwide from January 21st.
