BOULARD BARCELONA “With Kind Regards” Collection
by Adriano Batista
Ugo Boulard presented his first runway collection at 080 Barcelona Fashion. The name is “With Kind Regards,” and it works exactly like a letter of introduction.
The collection is split into three chapters, each one built around the epistolary universe. That means writing, paper, calligraphy, wax seals, and the letter itself as an intimate object. Boulard sees the letter as a symbol of memory and something that does not age. It stays with you.
Value here is not loud. It lives in the detail, in the layers of meaning, and in those small elements that reveal themselves only to the person who pays attention. Boulard compares them to palimpsests. You have to look closely. The whole thing is polite on the surface, but personal underneath. Exactly like a letter you keep in a drawer.
