AYANEGUI SS26 Presented by adidas Drops Second Release: The Other Self

AYANEGUI and adidas have introduced the second drop of The Other Self, a curated selection of pieces from the SS26 collection now available for purchase. Designed by self-taught Mexico City designer Giuseppe Ayanegui, the collection explores the tension between destruction and reconstruction, presenting clothing as a second skin that reflects the transformations we go through in life.
Each garment is developed through deconstruction and reconstruction, combining artisanal techniques with technical innovation. Cut-away constructions, sculptural silhouettes, exposed hardware, layered textiles, and 3D-printed elements sit alongside premium materials and adidas performance heritage. The palette moves through nude and metallic tones, a dialogue between fragility and power. Every seam and texture becomes part of a visual language that tells the story of personal transformation.
This second drop is not a continuation but a refined selection of the collection’s strongest pieces, chosen for commercial release after the original presentation. The garments carry the essence of The Other Self while keeping its conceptual integrity intact.
