AXEL ARIGATO has a new sneaker out for Spring/Summer 2026. It is called Zane, a unisex terrace-inspired silhouette that lands as part of the brand’s Green Space collection.

The collection this season looks at man-made nature, the kind shaped by human hands and daily use. Zane fits into that idea as something designed with intention, meant to be worn often and soften over time. The sneaker keeps things restrained. Proportions are measured. Lines are clean. Curves are gentle. The profile sits low and balanced, offering an understated presence that does not try too hard. There is terrace heritage in the stance, but it has been filtered through a contemporary city lens.

Construction happens in Portugal. The upper comes in supple leather with suede overlays. Some colorways go full suede for a softer feel. An off-set stitch runs along the eyestay and a T-toe construction shapes the front. Decorative stitching, evolved from the Clean 90, adds visual rhythm across the upper. The colors take cues from nature, muted and with gently aged finishes that suggest something already lived in.

Inside, a mixed lining of leather, recycled polyester and microfibre handles breathability and comfort. The outsole extends the brand’s low-profile family, with a tread pattern that subtly resembles knit texture. It is made from a rubber blend that includes recycled material.

The idea behind Zane is everyday ease. A sneaker you reach for without thinking. Creative Director Jens Werner puts it this way: “Zane was about creating something you instinctively reach for. A sneaker that feels simple and honest, but still considered in every detail. The name felt right because it’s familiar and unforced, much like the shoe itself. It’s quiet in its expression, yet confident: a style that settles naturally into your daily rhythm.”
