AURALEE and New Balance Return with the 204L

AURALEE and New Balance are releasing their latest collaboration, the AURALEE × New Balance 204L, first shown at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June 2025.
For this project, AURALEE reworks the materials, palette, and detailing of the 204L, a New Balance model that draws from running silhouettes of the 1970s and 2000s. The shoe is low-profile and slim, merging retro cues with tech-inspired texture.
Two colourways make up the lineup. White Lime pairs leather and nubuck with lightweight mesh. Dark Brown uses washed suede and nubuck, giving the look of a pair already worn in. Both options are understated and built to slip into an outfit without demanding attention.
The 204L itself is a newer lifestyle model from New Balance, pulling design elements from past and present favourites into a single silhouette. The collaboration keeps that shape intact while shifting the materials and tone.
