ASICS and Hidden NY have reunited for a second collaboration, the GEL-KINETIC 2.0, a sneaker built specifically for walking. It follows the HIDDEN GEL-NYC, which drew its visual language from the design tools Hidden’s audience uses every day. This time, the references look further back, to the early digital art software that preceded those tools.

The model arrives in two versions. A General Release in white and green uses the classic Hidden palette. A Limited Edition references the beige and grey tones of early computer hardware, an artifact of a computing era now distant. Both colourways carry the same technical details, some visible, some hidden.

Check it out below:

The GEL-KINETIC 2.0 represents a futuristic expression of footwear, developed using the ISS where advanced foot pressure testing data informed the placement of GEL pods underfoot. The Scutoid GEL Technology is more twisted and angular for flexibility, with the component inside inverted to ease pressure and provide comfort. FF BLAST PLUS technology is encased in a precision-engineered TPU cage, fusing cushioning with stability. The heel design comprises two layers to fit every heel shape, whether laces are worn loose or tight. The result is a mix of softness and hardness that supports movement with purpose.

The ASICS x Hidden GEL-KINETIC 2.0 unisex sneaker is available via Hidden NY in White/Castle Rock and Light Gray/Castle Rock for $270 USD.
