Ami Paris Spring/Summer 2027
by Adriano Batista
Against the heatwave sweeping across France, Ami Paris presented its Spring/Summer 2027 co-ed collection during Paris Fashion Week to considerable anticipation, arriving shortly after news of the brand’s new flagship boutique. Among the guests was ATEEZ’s Jongho, whose appearance underscored AMI’s growing influence in South Korea, where Alexandre Mattiussi’s refined approach to everyday dressing has resonated strongly with a generation drawn to understated luxury. Blending Parisian ease with wearable sophistication, the brand has cultivated a loyal following in Seoul and beyond.
This season, the Parisian house traded some of its familiar tailoring language for a more athletic vocabulary. Long-sleeved polos, rugby-inspired stripes in unexpected color combinations, sleek trainers, and elevated tracksuit references gave the collection a distinctly sporty backbone, while Mattiussi’s precise styling kept everything firmly within the realm of the understated refinement for which AMI has become known. Relaxed silhouettes and effortless layering brought a youthful energy to the runway, suggesting a wardrobe designed for movement rather than occasion.
The collection read as a natural evolution of the brand’s long-standing “real-life wardrobe” philosophy. As Ami celebrates its 15th anniversary, Mattiussi continues to refine his vision of contemporary Parisian dressing through clothes designed to accompany everyday life. The sporting influences felt less rooted in performance and more in practicality, comfort, and ease, qualities that have always sat at the heart of the brand. By translating separates with athletic detailing into a polished, wearable wardrobe, Mattiussi demonstrated that Ami’s greatest strength remains its ability to create clothes that feel relevant without chasing spectacle.
