Ami Paris Marks 15 Years with “Thank You for Being a Friend”
by Adriano Batista

Ami Paris is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a message of gratitude and a capsule collection that honours the values the brand was built on. “Fifteen years ago, I presented the first Ami Paris collection,” said founder Alexandre Mattiussi. “It was born from a desire to build a quintessentially Parisian wardrobe, especially for my friends, who at that time couldn’t find anything that was at once simple, elegant, and made with love. I decided to call the brand ‘Ami’ after my initials and also the French word for ‘friend.’”

“This year, we aren’t celebrating a specific anniversary, because Ami Paris is always evolving and looking ahead. I just think it’s the right time to express my gratitude to all the people who have been close to me. It’s my own message, but it belongs to everyone who knows what it means to be a friend.”
The campaign, Thank You for Being a Friend, launched on 21 May with a global out-of-home presence across Paris, London, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Bangkok. The message appeared on monuments, metro stations, billboards, and street-side spots, turning each city into a tribute to friendship. A capsule collection of a cap and T-shirt bearing the same words accompanies the moment, wearable emblems of a brand that has always been about connection.

The programme has unfolded across other activations worldwide. Photo booths in cities from Paris to Los Angeles invited friends to capture spontaneous moments together under the headline “Aren’t We All Friends?” A dedicated Gratitude Day brought together Ami Paris’ friends for flowers, shared lunches, and the kind of small gestures that leave a lasting impression. The capsule collection is available now.
