Ami Paris and the Year of the Horse

For the fifth year, Ami Paris marks the Lunar New Year. This edition, celebrating the Year of the Horse, is called Wild Spark. Designer Alexandre Mattiussi describes it as nostalgic and joyful.
The capsule is a small, focused set of knitwear, shirts, and soft jersey pieces. The colors pull from a natural landscape: the dry grass of ochre and camel, the deep berry of burgundy, the steady tone of evergreen. They suggest open fields and the last light of sunset.
The touch is personal and playful. Embroidery and hand-printed stitchwork add texture and a sense of the individual hand. The tribute to the zodiac animal is direct and strong. The horse appears in detailed patchwork on shirts, or as the central motif on cardigans and sweaters.
House ambassador Zhou Yiran fronts the campaign, reflecting the celebration’s connection to friends in Asia and around the world. The collection is a gift for the season, available globally in stores and online before the New Year begins on February 17th.
