Alpha Industries has partnered with Paris-based label Prototypes to reinterpret its archive through a process of reconstruction. The collaboration is part of Prototypes’ Series 08, titled The Fat of the Land, and explores new silhouettes built from what already exists.

The project dismantles familiar Alpha garments and reworks archival pieces into new silhouettes that sit between rural workwear and experimental streetwear. Flight nylon, bomber constructions and utilitarian details are taken apart and reassembled. The result is clothing that feels assembled rather than manufactured, defined by adaptation, reuse and reinterpretation.

Reflecting Prototypes’ philosophy of working with what already exists, the collection prioritizes repurposing over new production. Key pieces include reconstructed outerwear such as the CWU-45 Outline Bomber and Toggle Bomber, alongside utilitarian staples like the Outline Pant and graphic layers including hoodies and tees. Accessories such as the Bomber Sleeve Bag and Raw Beanies further express the collection’s inside-out construction language.
