This summer, Louis Vuitton is making a stylish return to Arles as it celebrates the world-renowned Les Rencontres d’Arles photography festival with a vibrant cultural programme centred on books, photography and travel. From July 7 to October 5, 2026, the House is transforming Le Buste et l’Oreille into a temporary bookstore dedicated to Louis Vuitton Editions, inviting visitors to explore its rich catalogue while enjoying an exhibition by photographer Guillaume Blot and a series of talks and book signings throughout the festival.

One of the highlights is the launch of the new Louis Vuitton City Guide Arles, created in collaboration with the photography festival. The latest edition celebrates the unique spirit of the Camargue city through fresh perspectives and exclusive imagery, featuring contributions from Anne-Sylvie Bameule, Julie Gautier and Pauline Capitani of the renowned publishing house Actes Sud. Alongside practical recommendations, the guide showcases unpublished photographic portfolios by Flore-Aël Surun and Guillaume Blot, offering an intimate portrait of Arles, its people and its creative energy. During the festival, the digital edition of the guide will also be available free of charge on the App Store.

Photography takes centre stage throughout the season, with Guillaume Blot presenting an exhibition of previously unseen images at Le Buste et l’Oreille. His work captures the authentic atmosphere of Bob’s, a beloved local institution where generations of regulars have gathered over wood-fired meals, music and lively celebrations. Blot’s photographs beautifully preserve the warmth, traditions and enduring sense of community that make this iconic Camargue venue such an important part of local life.

The festival also marks an exciting milestone for Louis Vuitton’s Fashion Eye collection, which celebrates its tenth anniversary with two new titles dedicated to Ibiza and Bucharest. In Fashion Eye Ibiza, photographer Lachlan Bailey captures the island’s timeless sense of freedom, balancing peaceful coastal landscapes with its legendary nightlife. His warm, sun-drenched images reflect Ibiza’s enduring bohemian spirit, revealing both its natural beauty and vibrant energy through a deeply personal lens.

Meanwhile, Fashion Eye Bucharest offers a strikingly different perspective. Dutch photographer Paul Kooiker explores Romania’s capital through a series of carefully observed fragments, blending portraits, architecture and everyday moments into a layered visual diary. Originally drawn to the city’s monumental landmarks, Kooiker instead turned his attention to its streets and people, creating an intimate portrait that reflects Bucharest’s fascinating balance between history, creativity and constant transformation.

With a catalogue of around one hundred titles spanning travel, fashion, photography, literature and contemporary art, Louis Vuitton Editions continues to celebrate the joy of discovery through publishing. By bringing together books, exhibitions and conversations in the heart of Arles, the House once again demonstrates its commitment to culture, inviting festival-goers to experience the city through fresh eyes while discovering new destinations through the art of photography.
