After his appearance at the Benidorm Fest, Izan Llunas finds himself at a pivotal moment in his career. The young boy who once captivated audiences by portraying Luis Miguel in the hit Netflix series has evolved into an artist determined to carve out his own path in the music industry. Entering a new phase defined by maturity, consistency, and the pursuit of a unique identity, Izan takes the stage with a renewed vision and a clear ambition: to show who he is today. We spoke with him about his beginnings, his evolution, and everything that lies ahead after this important experience.

Do you remember the moment you discovered you wanted to dedicate yourself to music?

The moment I realized I wanted to dedicate myself to music was when I stepped onto my first stage on my island, Ibiza, at just 10 years old, accompanied by my father and my singing teacher.

Playing Luis Miguel in the Netflix series marked your career. How would you describe your artistic evolution from then until now?

My artistic evolution since then hasn’t been easy: I’ve had to gradually move away from the image of the child who portrayed Luis Miguel, while building my own identity as an artist.

What motivated you to apply for Benidorm Fest?

I was motivated to take the step because I had been following the project for years, but it wasn’t until this year that I truly felt ready to step onto that stage. I also see it as a great opportunity to show the audience this new phase of my artistic career. I found out I had been selected while I was in the recording studio.

What was the preparation process like for your performance at Benidorm Fest? What did you learn from the experience?

It was quite a tough process, but also very rewarding. It’s a song that is very demanding live, especially with the staging I presented.

Who have been your biggest musical influences?

My main influences are artists like Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and Abraham Mateo.

What has been the most exciting moment of your career so far?

I think the most exciting moment of my career is the day-to-day: focusing on growing as a person and striving every day to be better.

What can your fans expect from you after Benidorm Fest?

Those who follow me can expect a lot of music and constant content, all with a completely unique signature.
