Louis Vuitton is marking ten years of its partnership with UNICEF. To celebrate, the house is releasing a special new version of its Silver Lockit pendant, this time made in yellow gold.

The partnership began on January 12, 2016. To solidify its support, Louis Vuitton created the Silver Lockit collection. The design is inspired by the lock on a classic 1901 travel bag, representing ideas of trust and protection. Each year since, a new version has been released to support UNICEF’s work.

Over the past decade, this collaboration has raised more than 28 million dollars. The funds support health, education, and protection programs for children around the world.

This year’s pendant is a limited edition. It is the first time the design has been made in yellow gold. It is a unisex piece. For every one sold, UNICEF will receive 800 dollars, continuing the effort that began a decade ago.
