The London brand Timothy Li has released its second collection, called Series II. It is an exploration of masculinity, seen through the perspective of a boy. The focus is on intimacy, softness, and a sense of held-back emotion.

The collection uses specific motifs. Curtains and layered covers appear on garments, acting as a barrier between the body and the outside world. These elements suggest ideas of hiding, revealing, and creating distance. They are meant to echo the quiet, private space of a boy’s room, where feelings are first managed alone.

Familiar menswear pieces are the foundation. Tailoring, trench coats, jackets, and shirts are all reworked. The construction is soft. The deconstruction is subtle, with a feminine touch. Silhouettes are loose. Proportions feel deliberately off. Details are left unfinished.
