Woolrich and PHIPPS pay homage to American fashion in their capsule collection
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Although the heat is still beating down on most cities, the truth is that the minds of many citizens and, above all, those who love outerwear, are already fixed on the autumn/winter season. Summer is over. We love it, yes, but also need a break. When will the cold weather arrive? No one knows, but it will be sooner rather than later. For the arrival of such a moment, the Woolrich and PHIPPS collection will be available, which aims to pay homage to the enduring legacy of American style, as well as to keep us warm, of course.
The capsule comprises a selection of vintage pieces exclusive to PHIPPS Gold Label and comprises 50 pieces of this style, embodying the essence of American fashion history. As a result of all the work previously carried out, it has been possible to represent the fundamental principles that the two parties involved in the project stand for and to give fresh and modern air to every one of the garments, some of them inspired by the brand’s 200 years of heritage.
In an effort to curb overproduction in the fashion industry, PHIPPS introduced PHIPPS GOLD LABEL VINTAGE: a collection of PHIPPS custom vintage and stock clothing sourced from around the world and expertly selected. From beautifully aged flannels to custom sports shirts, each item tells a unique story and creates a timeless, no-waste feel of PHIPPS style.
Woolrich x PHIPPS collaboration is now available in Woolrich stores in Milan, New York, and Berlin – what are you waiting for to get your hands on some of it?
