The second runway show for SUNNEI – the menswear label formed from the passion of duo Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo – symbolizes a new chapter for the brand. Inspired by the idea of young men that escape from home through the window to secretly make their way to a party, the collection develops the founders’ signature Made in Italy aesthetic.
For Fall/Winter 2017, SUNNEI designs a collection that plays with the stereotypes linked to Italian fashion. A tribute to pure beauty in an era of contemporary culture guided by chaos and repulsiveness.
For the Fall/Winter 2017 collection, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, co-founders and artistic directors of Maison Kitsuné, drew their inspiration from American pop culture and the aesthetic and creative energie of New York born, Paris based, artist William Klein.
