NikeLab Presents the LEBRON 12 Elite x Pigalle

Stephane Ashpool’s creative take on the performance silhouette features aesthetic elements geared for off-court wear. These include a muted white and silver color scheme that contrasts the brighter colors recently featured in James’ signature series. In addition, the speckled print on the upper alludes to basketball’s shot clock and the passing of time – and references the broader NikeLab x Pigalle collection that dropped in June.
“The LeBron 12 Elite provides the ultimate in comfort and aesthetics,” Ashpool explains. “It is not only for the core player, but also for someone with a futuristic style.”
The vertical wings, which wrap the foot for lockdown and stability, are treated with an anodized chrome finish to give the shoe a high-tech aesthetic. Additional premium details include extra memory foam in the collar for superior comfort, a leather tongue with a rubberized Pigalle logo and a geometric lace lock. The pull-tab on the heel features both the LeBron and Pigalle logos as well.
The NikeLab LEBRON 12 Elite x Pigalle is available beginning August 18 at NikeLab X158 in Shanghai, August 19 at NikeLab PS7 in Hong Kong and from September 3 at select NikeLab stores and nike.com/nikelab.
