LAZOSCHMIDL unveiled its Spring/Summer 2016 lookbook, photographed by artist Paul Mpagi Sepuya and Swedish ex-model and photographer Valter Törsleff. The collection titled “ANTISOCIAL DISCOTEK“, is an aesthetic exploration of teenage escapism. Millennial clubwear as means of self-expression and self-exploration is the starting point.

Textures and colours are misused as drugs: nylon, plastic, velvet and polyester in fluorescent primary flashes of pink, green, blue and orange. Fabric manipulations include animal print covered with crystallized nylon, Asian brocade paired with plastic, and crushed velvet laminated with PVC. A cocktail of sexotism and fear.
