Laend Phuengkit‘s aesthetic is characterised by the creative combination of draping with patterns and styles inspired by different European and Asian cultures. His designs are a collage of prints and styles geographically inspired, creating an innovative and urban look that reflects the designers own personal background.
After graduating from FHNW for Design and Arts in Basel, Zurich-born designer Laend Phuengkit launched the eponymous label Studio Laend Phuengkit in 2010. Living and working in Berlin now, Phuengkit designs current men and womenswear. In 2011, he presented his collection at Berlin Fashion Week and won the renowned ‘Swiss Design Award’.
