For its Spring/Summer 2014, LACOSTE L!VE teams up with French artist Sanghon Kim, as a director and illustrator, to create a manga-inspired capsule collection.

On the occasion of a highly sporty forthcoming Summer, Sanghon Kim directed a short animation film themed around football, in which players of the white team proudly sport a unique jersey, adorned with a reinterpreted crocodile crest.

This collaboration has drawn inspiration from 1980’s Japanese sport mangas, and created a new collection of 10 references for men and women. The emblem, number 27 print and splatter pattern form the leitmotiv of this capsule. The main piece in the mens collection is inspired by the 1980’s football jersey, as worn by the main characters in the animation film.
