For Fall/Winter 2016, Komakino continues its exploration into 1940’s & 1950’s iconic shapes that are idiosyncratic to the tribes of the time. Much of the inspiration behind this collection was anarchist press, the concept of individuality, and punk culture.

Words such as “contropotere“, the Italian word for counterpower, are embroidered into the garments. Standout pieces include images such as the black cat symbol are sown onto jersey hoodies and nylon capes like patches, overcoats, and pants. Everything is sourced and produced in Italy, from fabrics and prints to its impeccable tailoring.
