Last week we traveled to Kyiv to attend the second edition of the International Young Designers Contest (IYDC), one of the largest and most influential international fashion events for emerging talents in Eastern and Central Europe.

Organized by the Ukrainian Fashion Council and IED-Istituto Europeo di Design, the event saw collections from 10 countries: Georgia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic. All of them are prize-winners of national competitions in their countries, which ensured the objectivity in the selection of the contestants and their high level of creativity.
