HARTONO unveiled its Fall/Winter 2015 lookbook, photographed by Reza Hood and styled by Benjamin Brouillet. This season the designs are heavily inspired by sportswear, with some of items that integrated Muslim dressing into the sportswear, such as the really long jersey and polo shirt, and the skirted sport pants. The prints imply the airbrush painting that is common in Indonesians trucks and motorbikes.

They have special likings for kitschy horror films that almost always include snakes, sumptuous woman, and murders. Truck driver usually will use this theme to paint their trucks. As well as the typical objects that they find in “Warung” (street canteen where 90% of the people in for lunch time in Indonesia); ketchup bottle, instant noodle, bowl with rooster illustration, money notes, and a type of local vegetable, were used in prints. The logo was to address that these abang abang cannot afford the luxurious sportswear such as Nike and Adidas so end up setting for fakes although they like to wear branded sportswear. This is where the “JUST LICK IT” a parody of JUST DO IT comes up.

The fabric is based on the revisited ideas of using unexpected fabrics to make fake jeans and jackets. This season overall show more enhanced quality with some banal classic items.
