On the occasion of the Spring 2018 season, Dior Homme presents a Dior Denim collection by Kris Van Assche, in a casual re-interpretation of the tropes of a Dior Homme suit. Revisiting the urban pairing of straight leg 5-pocket jeans with a denim shirt and jacket styles, the idea of ‘double denim’ is underpinned by the classic touch of crisp shirting and a silk necktie. The iconic silver-embossed black leather “Dior” logo tab is revisited as an external embellishment, shifting from the inside out to appear on shirting, jackets, and jeans.

Exploring an array of treatments from raw indigo to vintage black and bleached washes, Dior denim elevates traditional workwear with engineered cuts and opulent details including sheepskin collars and snap-stud buttons. Graphic elements abound, with the season’s club kid slogans appearing as DIY screen-printed details and the new roses embroidery as a bold shoulder patch on slim blousons. the look remains slim and relaxed throughout, with sleeveless gilet shapes for layering, and a balance of clean and distressed finishing.

The Dior Denim collection will be in stores on January 2018. For the launch, special pieces customized with London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo initials will be exclusively available in 7 pop up stores over the world.
